My name is Dustyn Roberts. Dustyn Robots is a sole proprietorship I founded in New York in 2006 when a friend said "If the er in your last name was an o, you'd be Dustyn Robots." I was working for Honeybee Robotics at the time and had already done some consulting work with Robot Clothes at Eyebeam Art + Technology Center, so I registered the name and made it official. I continued consulting projects mostly for students and artists while I worked full time at Honeybee until early 2009, and then consulted full time on a variety of projects from medical equipment to guided parachute systems. For examples of projects I've worked on, check out my Projects pages. My consulting is mostly on hold now while I work on my PhD at NYU-Poly, but I usually have time for questions and short consultations.
